I just finished teaching a workshop on the weekend. We were working on West Coast landscapes in acrylic. It was a great group and we had lots of fun and frustration. It coincided with an exhibition of oil sketches by the group of seven, well worth seeing. This was all at the Evergreen Cultural Centre in Coquitlam. This weekend I will be at the Birthplace of B.C. Gallery for the opening of the "Rivers, Rails and Trails" show. Artists will be showing new works and painting in the garden. There will be lots to see and do in the Fort which will be celebrating B.C.150 years. I will be there on Monday Aug 4.
