Amanda Jones is a Canadian artist living in Richmond, BC. Her paintings reflect the joy she feels in exploring the beautiful West Coast landscapes in British Columbia.  Amanda enjoys the versatility of acrylics, using bold, expressive brushwork to convey her work. The light and shade, colours, patterns and shapes in nature are a constant inspiration. 

Primarily self-taught Amanda has studied with several respected Canadian artists. A member of the Federation of Canadian artists since 1992, she was awarded senior signature status, SFCA, the highest level attainable, in 2010. Also in 2010 her work was selected to be displayed at the Vancouver International Airport during the Olympics. Amanda has exhibited in many solo and group shows and is represented in several galleries in the Vancouver area.
